Here we are, Master Cleanse Day 10!!! So happy that I was able to do it without cheating. I am still feeling great & hope it all pays off. I feel so good; I would almost want to continue maybe in a modified way. Will give some thought to that as I ease off the program.
I’m really looking forward to some fruit. Salmon sounds really good now too – must be from all the lemons, I’m in the mood for fish. But I digress, I still need to get through the day. So now on to day 10 of my master cleanse journal.
Day 10 Master Cleanse Journal
I started today with the salt flush. It was still hard as always, but I powered through. That is definitely the worst part of the diet. If you can do it quickly then it’s over in just a few minutes. It kicked in about 20 minutes later. I made 3-4 bathroom trips as I was purging all that water & cleaning out any remaining junk in my system.
I enjoyed my lemonade this morning. It always taste better on the days I do the salt flush. So although it is truly terrible tasting, at least their are a few perks.
Master Cleanse Day 10 Afternoon
The rest of the day passed without any problems. Since I drank the salt water today, I didn’t have the cramping I normally do with tea. The next time I do this, I think I’ll continue to alternate the tea with the salt water. I can’t decide which is worse, drinking the salt water or the cramping. I think I would lean toward the cramping – it can be avoided if you drink plenty of water in the morning. And, it’s not really that bad, whereas the salt water makes me want to throw up. That’s a lot less pleasant.
After work, I went shopping for my After the Cleanse supplies. I’m excited to try the vegetarian soup. I’ll post the recipe in the next post and let you know how it was. It’s such a good feeling to have completed the master cleanse – to have made it all 10 days. Plus I feel good again. No more sluggish feeling, like all I wanted to do was have a snack & a nap.
Bonus: Master Cleanse Benefits in my Joints & Skin
Two things I’ve noticed lately. My skin actually does look better. I always have little breakouts on my chin. Apparently, the toxins have been coming out of my skin as well. But today it’s looking better and my face feels smooth.
But the really great thing I haven’t had aches in my joints this last week. For the last twenty years, I’ve been working on the computer daily – I do it all day long for my job, then also on weekends like everybody does. Just last month I’ve started to notice aches & pains in my fingers – mostly in my knuckles. I thought maybe I was getting an early form of arthritis, since I feel like I’m way too young for that. But it has really been bothering me.
Since I started the master cleanse, my joints actually feel better. I have to wonder what part of the cleanse has been helping me, since this is a tremendous relief. I had actually started looking for creams or supplements to help relieve the pain, but seems like I’ve found a more natural treatment now.
UPDATE:
I hopped on the scale the next morning & to my great relief – I’d lost 2 more pounds. That puts me at 9 pounds total!! Not quite the 10 pounds I’d hoped for, but that’s OK. I look so much slimmer & I feel great, and that’s what counts. Plus I’m motivated now to eat healthy again. No way will I go back to eating sweets and ice cream when I’ve made so much progress already.
So I finally made it to the end! I can’t believe I actually did it. And thanks to the Master Cleanse Secrets Guide by Raylen Sterling, it was much easier than I thought it would be. Seriously, although I was confident I could push myself to go the full 10 days, I thought t would be a lot harder than it was. So if you are thinking about doing the master cleanse, my advice is go for it. It’s not nearly as hard as you think it will be.
